Shabby Chic Bedroom Suite

Painted in white and light blue this lightly distressed bedroom set looks fab! I might be keeping this for our new bedroom extension. Or not. I haven't decided!! I'll have to think about it a bit more me thinks....

It started out being a plain rimu (I think) bedroom set ca. 1980s. It was in lovely condition, but becuse it has been in storage for many years its a bit tired. But painting the carcass white and the moving parts blue was an EASY decision to make once I had given it a good clean and looked hard at it. It now has a new lease of life, YES!

The lady I brought it off had it stored in a barn. Despite this the set was in a fabulous condition.... no damp issues or borer infestations at all.
