I brought this lovely mahogany drop-sided coffee table from a fellow crafter. She had a lovely house in the bush and enjoyed crochet etc. Unfortunately it just wasn't very practical - for her or for me. It seems like a great idea having side flaps but it really wasn't. Besides, one of the flaps were damaged anyway.
So, I whipped both sides off with a screwdriver and gave it a fresh lick of.... wait for it.... white paint! There is something about fresh white paint that livens the most boring piece of furniture up.
